                   Beside have regular class in at school, ICS also provides outdoor lesson by bringing the students to places which give positive ideas for students. One of them is going to La Fusion Pekanbaru. This is a good opportunities to learn how to be a good chef in the future. ICS Primary 6 is the first cooking class that take part in the La Fusion programme. Our students very happy to have the programme there. Check this out!

Wall Magazine Competition

“Wall Magazine Creation Competition”

In celebrating Indonesian Independent Day 2016, ICS held “Wall Magazine Creation Competition conducted by ICS librarians. Every class must come out with a wall magazine related to Indonesian Independent Day.

We take part on this competition. We discuss, prepare and start to make it. We really can feel the warm atmosphere in the room at the time since everyone put a lot of efforts to the work because we have the same goal, Do The Best for this competition.

There are two ways in deciding the winner. First, all students will choose the best wall magazine by writing in on a piece of paper provided by the committee to get the most favorite Wall Magazine. Second, All leader sit together and decide the best one based on the content, design and the teamwork of the class in doing it.

Then, the results are .......

Our class win in those two categories. What amazing team work of Primary 6 B students and form teachers. Let’s keep this achievement.....

UN Camp

Having Lesson while Camping

              UN Camp is annual activity that we conduct to give other new learning experience for the students instead of in the classroom. It has  lots of fun games which will refresh students mind after having intensive lesson at school. In between games, we have three lesson sessions. For sure the way in teaching and learning is different from the regular class. Students are the center of the process.  Teachers have a walk with students around camp area and learn a lot new lesson there. 

          Beside having activity, we still have sholat together, sharing, discussion, barbecue and campfire. Here students and teachers build more relation and communication. We really feel the benefit in our selves. Together We Can!!!!!

         We are a big family of Primary 6 B of Indonesian Creative School Pekanbaru, Riau. We are proud as the part of this International School. The first school in Riau which has licence from University of Cambridge to run Cambridge Curriculum.
